UCO Bank has officially released the notification for UCO Bank Apprentice 2024 through Advertisement No: HO/HRM/RECR/2024-25/COM-19. The notification was released on 2nd July 2024 and as per the notification, the total number of Apprenticeship vacancies is 544 in various UCO Bank branches across India.

Any Indian graduate who is between the ages of 20 to 28 years can apply online for Apprentice. Salary / Stipend:

A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- (including subsidy amount if any by the Government of India) per month will be paid to the selected candidate during the apprenticeship period. UCO Bank will pay Rs. 10,500/- per month and the Government share of the stipend of Rs. 4,500/- will be directly credited through DBT mode as per extant guidelines.

Training Duration:

The total duration of training for Uco Bank Apprentice is One Year from the date of contract.

Training Hours:

The daily training hours will be the same as the clerical staff of the Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship:

Candidates applying for the UCO Bank Apprentice post must be either:

1. a citizen of India or
2. a subject of Nepal or
3. a subject of Bhutan or
4. a Tibetian refugee (who came to India before Jan.1962) or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024):

• Minimum Age: 20 years i.e. not born after 01.07.2004.
• Maximum Age: 28 years i.e. not born before 02.07.1996.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

• Graduation degree from any recognised university/institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• Local Language: The candidate applying for a particular State. The candidate must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking any of the local languages of that particular State.

Selection Process

The selection for UCO Bank apprentice recruitment 2024 will be done through Screening and Personal Interviews of the shortlisted candidates as per Banks rules. The official notification also mentions that in case of a high volume of applications then the Bank may conduct a Written test.

I. Written test: The candidate is advised to regularly check the official website www.ucobank.com → Careers. If the bank conducts the written test then the candidate needs to complete the online registration along with the payment of the requisite fee. The information regarding the date, centre, and pattern of the written test will be provided on the bank’s website.

II. Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for an Interview and the marks of the Interview will be added to the marks obtained written test (if conducted).

III. Document Verification & Test of Local Language: Shortlisted candidates who successfully clear the written test (if any) and Interview will be called for document verification. During document verification, the Test of the Local Language will be conducted for those candidates who did not produce the certificates/marks sheet of 10th/12th evidencing having studied the local language of the applying state.

Steps for Application Process:

1. First, visit the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) to register and complete the profile. Make sure to have all the documents ready before registration.
2. After opening the NATS portal click on “Student” → “Student Register” and fill in the Email ID and Mobile Number and verify with OTP (both email and mobile OTP).
3. Now fill in all the basic details and educational details, upload your Aadhaar, create a password and “Submit“ the registration form. After submission, a verification mail with a verification link will be sent to the registered email ID. Once verified, log in by clicking through “Student Login“.
