The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of North Eastern Railway (NER), Gorakhpur has released the notification for RRC NER ACT Apprentice Recruitment 2024 (Notification no. NER/RRC/Act Apprentice/2024-25) for 1100+ Posts. This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to join Indian Railways through an apprenticeship training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules. 1962 in various units and trades of North Eastern Railways.

Training and Stipend:

• The stipend will be paid during the Apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant rules/instructions.
• The training will be arranged as per the standard and prescribed syllabus by the Central Apprenticeship Council subject to registration with RDAT/Kanpur.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 12.06.2024):

• Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years.

Education Qualification

• Candidate must have passed high school or 10th with a minimum of 50% marks.
• The Candidate must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant Trade as on the notification date i.e. 12.06.2024.

Medical Qualification

Selected candidates must submit a Medical Certificate in the prescribed format issued by an authorized Medical Officer during the time of document verification.

Selection Process

The selection for RRC NER Apprentice 2024 is purely on the basis on merit i.e. the candidates will be shortlisted based on the average percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Document Verification: Candidates provisionally selected for document verification will be called for document verification at Gorakhpur. For document verification, the candidate must bring a copy of the Online Application, Medical Certificate, 4 passport-size photographs, and all their original certificates and testimonials (for verification purposes).

Step-by-Step Online Application Process:

1. Visit the official website of RRC NER Gorakhpur apprentice.rrcner.net.
2. Now click on “Online Registration”. Read all the instructions and click on “Proceed”.
3. Select Trade from the dropdown menu and click on “Next”.
4. Fill in the Application Form with relevant details and click on continue by validating with a captcha.
5. Confirm all the filled information and Submit. The login details (Registration no. and Password) will be sent to the registered Email ID and Mobile number.
6. Now log in with the required credentials and complete the application process like Unit Preference, Uploading Documents, Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression etc.
7. Once done proceed with the Payment of the application fee (if applicable).
