RRB JE Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates preparing for RRB JE 2024 must know the examination pattern to understand and strategize their preparation accordingly. The selection process involves the 1st Stage Computer Based Examination (CBT-1), 2nd Stage Computer Based Examination (CBT-2), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
The information regarding the examination date, time and venue will be intimated to eligible candidates by the RRB in due course through the official website, SMS and email. The details of each stage including subjects, no. of questions, time allocation etc. are given below:
RRB JE CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2024
No. of Questions: 100 (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions)
Duration: 90 Minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied by Scribe)
Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying percentage of marks for each community are: UR – 40%, EWS – 40%, OBC – 30%, SC – 30%, and ST – 25%. This percentage of marks may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of a shortage of PwBD candidates.
Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer a total of 1/3rd marks allotted for each question shall be deducted.

RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2024
The candidates who scored the minimum qualifying marks after normalization in CBT-1 will be shortlisted for CBT-2 based on merit. The candidates shortlisted for the RRB JE CBT-2 shall be 15 times the community-wise total vacancy of posts.

Duration: 120 Minutes (160 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied by Scribe)
