Punjab National Bank published the notification on 30th June 2024 on the official website www.pnbindia.in for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 inviting interested Indian nationals to fill up 2700 Apprentice posts on a one-year contractual basis across all over India. The application process started on 30th June 2024 and the mode of application is online. PNB Apprentice Vacancy

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a total of 2700 vacancies across all over India for apprentice posts. The category and state-wise vacancy details is given below:

PNB Apprentice Salary

The engaged apprentice will be eligible for the following stipend per month for the contract period of one year without any other allowances/benefits:

Training Duration:

The duration of training for the post of Apprentice is One Year from the date of the contract. The training duration will include:

• Basic Training: 2 weeks
• On-Job Training: 50 weeks

PNB Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/Citizenship:

The candidate must be either a subject of India or Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intension of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2024):

• Minimum Age: 20 Years (not after 30.06.2004)
• Maximum Age: 28 Years (not earlier than 30.06.1996)
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates is as per the Government of India guidelines.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

Education Qualification (as on 30.06.2024):

Graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised Institute/College/University.

Physical / Medical Fitness:

The candidate must be medically fit as per the bank’s requirements.

Application Fee (Non-Refundable):

The candidate must make the payment of the application fees from 30th June 2024 to 14th July 2024. The payment of the fee is through Online mode only. The category-wise application fees are as follows:

Selection Process for PNB Apprentice 2024

I. Online Written Test (Exam Date: 28.07.2024)

The Online Written Examination will be Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type in English or Hindi. The detail is given below:

II. Test of Local Language:

• Candidates applying for a particular state must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding in any one of the specified local languages of that particular state.
• Candidates who produce 10th / 12th standard certificates with evidence of having studied the specified local language will not be required to undergo a Language Test.
• For other candidates, the test for knowledge of the local language will be conducted as part of the selection process during the time of document verification.

III. Medical Examination:

The engagement of selection apprentices is as per his/her being medically fit as per the Bank requirement.

PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Application Process

Documents Required Before Applying Online:

• Passport Size photograph:
  • Format: JPEG.
  • File Size: less than 1 MB.
• Aadhar Card.
• Valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
• Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate
  • Format: PDF
  • File Size: Less than 1 MB.

Step-By-Step Online Application Process:

1. Visit the Punjab National Bank’s official website www.pnbindia.in and click on “Recruitment” and then click on “Apply Online”.
2. Now go to the “Career Opportunities” section on the top and bfsissc.com click on “Punjab National Bank Apprenticeship” and make the payment of the application fees.
3. Thereafter the candidate will have to register and complete their profile, If not registered before, in two separate Government Apprentice Portals:
   • NAPS Apprenticeship Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) – Apprentice Login/Registration Section
   • NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in) – Student Registration / Login Section (Applicable only for those who have passed their graduation on or after 1st April 2020).
4. After successfully registering in the respective apprentice portals (NAPS / NATS), the candidate will receive an email from BFSI SSC asking for NAPS apprentice code / NATS enrollment number.
5. Now all the candidates have to provide all the basic details, category, name of scribe etc.
