Salary for Junior Assistant

Nationality
The candidate applying for the post of Junior Assistant in LIC HFL must be an Indian Citizen.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024)
- Minimum: 21 Years i.e. the candidate must have been born not after 01.07.2003.
- Maximum: 28 Years i.e. the candidate must have been born not before 02.07.1996.
Education Qualification (as on 01.07.2024)
- Graduate: The candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or equivalent. Graduation through Correspondent/ distance/ part-time is not eligible.
- Computer Literacy: Working and operating knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Candidate must have studied Computer/ Information Technology as a subject in High School/College/Institute.

Selection Process for LIC HFL Junior Assistant
The selection for the post of Junior Assistant consists of four phases i.e. Online Examination, Interview, Final selection, and Medical Examination. The details of each phase are as follows:
Phase I: Online Examination
The online examination will be of 200 objective-type Multiple-choice questions consisting of 1 mark each. The questions will be in English language only and the time allocated for the online examination is 2 hours. There will negative marking of 1/4th or 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The examination comprises five sections and the details of each section are given below:

Phase II: Interview

Phase III: Final Selection
Based on the performance in both the Online Examination and Interview combined the final merit list will be prepared. The final selection will be based on the merit ranking, subject to minimum qualifying marks in the Interview.
Phase IV: Medical Examination
The selected candidate will have to undergo a medical examination by the Medical Examiner authorized by the LIC HFL. After clearing the medical examination and being declared medically fit the selected candidate will be appointed as a Junior Assistant.
