The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force released a notification on 7th July 2024 for ITBP Head Constable (Education and Stress Counselor) 2024. Pay Scale

The pay scale for ITBP Head Constable (Education and Stress Counselor) is Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- as per the 7th CPC of Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix. Additionally, there will be other allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), Ration Money, Special Compensatory Allowances, HRA, TA, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical Facility and other allowances as per the rules.

The Selected candidates will also be entitled to Pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” effected from 01.01.2004.

Selection Process

The selection process for ITBP Head Constable (Education and Stress Counselor) Recruitment 2024 consists of Three phases PET & PST, Written Examination, and Document Verification & Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The details for each phase are as follows:

Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST):

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET is qualifying in nature so no marks will be awarded for the test. The candidate has to qualify in each event for PET.

Weight: The candidate’s weight will be measured according to height and age as per medical standards.

Phase II: Written Examination

Candidates who successfully clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) will appear in the Written Examination. The written examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The examination will either be conducted in OMR or Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be informed by ITBPF. There will be no negative marking in the written examination. The category-wise minimum cut-off percentage of marks for qualifying in the ITBP Head Constable written examination is as follows:

Phase III: Document Verification & Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Document Verification:

Candidates shortlisted through merit in the ITBP Head Constable written examination will appear for Document verification. The candidate must produce the original document and testimonials (which will be returned after verification) along with the self-attested photocopies for the following:

  • Education Certificates.
  • Matriculation/Class 10 certificate.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • No Objection Certificate in original for the person serving in Government services.
  • Domicile Certificate / PAN Card / Aadhaar Card / Voter Card / Driving License etc. for citizenship verification.
  • Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen)
  • 04 (Four) Passport size photograph.

Detailed Medical Examination (DME):

Candidates who qualify for the Document Verification will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) where the fitness of the candidate will be assessed.
