Salary/Stipend
The stipend per month for the post of apprentice varies with the branch location. The selected candidates will receive:

Period of Training/Engagement
Selected candidates will be engaged for 12 months of on-the-job Training as an Apprentice in any Indian Bank. The daily hours of training will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the bank.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship:
Candidate applying for the post of Indian Bank Apprentice must be a:
- a citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetian refugee (who came to India before 1st January 1962) or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

Education Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline from any recognised University or Institution or Equivalent. Candidates should have completed and have a passing certificate for their graduation after 31.03.2020.
Application Fees:
The candidate must pay the application fees/intimation charges (non-refundable) from 10th July 2024 to 31st July 2024 through online mode only. The category-wise application fees are as follows:
- General(UR)/OBC/EWS → Rs. 500/-

Selection Process
The selection process for Indian Bank Apprentices Recruitment 2024 involves two stages: I. Online Written Test (Objective Type) and II. Local Language Proficiency. The bank will decide whether to conduct an interview or not.
Phase I: Online Written Test (Objective Type)
The online written test will be conducted in major regional languages as decided by the Indian Bank except for English. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer. The test will be conducted in four parts as follows:

Phase II: Local Language Proficiency
Candidates who qualify and get shortlisted in the written test will have to appear for the local language proficiency. The candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking any local language of the applied State. It is mandatory to qualify for the specified opted local language proficiency test.
Candidates who produce class 8/10/12 mark sheets or certificates evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

Assessment and Certification
After completion of apprenticeship training. The apprentice will have to go through an assessment test for both theoretical conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) as well as the on-the-job training component conducted by the Indian Bank. Based on the marks scored by the apprentice, an Apprenticeship Certificate will be awarded to the apprentice jointly by BFSI SSC and Indian Bank.

- Passport Size Photograph: Colour passport-size photograph against a light-coloured (preferably white background).

- Dimension: 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
- File Size: 20kb – 50kb
- Signature: Sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.

- Left Thumb impression: Put left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
