IBPS SO 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
Candidates applying for the IBPS Specialist Officer post must be either:
- a citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetian refugee (who came to India before Jan.1962) or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

Candidates must qualify for each test in the main examination by securing minimum cutoff marks. An adequate number of candidates securing the cutoff marks (decided by IBPS) in the main examination only will be shortlisted for the Interview.
III. Interview
The candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main Examination for Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Specialist Officers in Participating Banks (CRP SPL-XIV) will be called for an Interview which will be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Banks of each State/UTs with the help of IBPS.
Total Marks: 100 marks
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
• For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates: 35%
• For all other Candidates: 40%
The weightage ratio of the Online Main Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.
