DCPU North 24 Parganas Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
1. P.O. (NIC)
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024):
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 45 Years
- Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and for PWD candidates the Upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.
- Education Qualification: Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Social Work/Sociology/ Child Development/ Human Rights/ Public Administration/ Psychology/ Psychiatry/ Law/ Public Health/ Community Resource Management from any recognized University.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in Computers.
2. Counsellor
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024):
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 35 Years
- Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and for PWD candidates the Upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.
- Education Qualification: Graduation degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Public Health/ Counselling from any recognized University. OR. PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.
- Preferred Qualification/ Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in Computers.
3. ADEO (to be posted JJB)
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024):
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 35 Years
- Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and for PWD candidates the Upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.
- Education Qualification: HS (10+2) Passed from a recognised Board or equivalent. Weightage for candidates having work experience.

Selection Process for DCPU North 24 Parganas Recruitment 2024
The candidates applying for various posts under DCPU North 24 Parganas Recruitment 2024 will be selected through Three Phases i.e. Written Examination, Computer Test and Viva Voice. The details of each phase are given below:
Phase I: Written Examination
The written examination will consist of 80 marks. The subjects for the written examination are Bengali, English, Arithmetic, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Child Development & Social Welfare. There will be different sets of question paper for different categories of posts based on Essential qualification for each post. The Date, Time and venue for the Written Examination will be informed later through the district website. The Marks distribution for each subject in the written examination is as follows:

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30 Marks
Phase II: Computer Test & Viva Voice
The top ten candidates in the ratio of 1:10 will be shortlisted for the Computer Test based on their performance in the Written Examination. The computer test will consist of 10 marks and candidates must score at least 30% marks to qualify for viva voice.
The total mark in viva voice is 10 marks.
Final Merit List: The final merit list of the successful candidates will be prepared in the ratio of 1:4 based on the performance of the candidate in the Written Examination, Computer Test and Viva Voice. The Final merit list will be valid for 2 years from the date of approval of the same.
