Central Silk Board 2024 Salary Structure
The candidates selected for the post of Scientist – B (Pre-Cocoon Sector) in Central Silk Board will get the salary as per Level 10 (7th CPC) of the pay matrix (Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) plus other allowances as per the Central Government Rules.
CSB Recruitment 2024 Service Condition
- Security Bond: Selected candidates for the post of Scientist B shall execute a Security Bond of Rs. 2,00,000/- in case of service less than three months or the last three months salary emoluments in case of service more than three months but less than three years.
- Probation: 1 Year.
- Service Benefits: Leave/ LTC/ Medical etc. as per Government rules.
- Posting: Anywhere in India.

Age Limit
The Upper age limit is 35 years as on 05.09.2024.
Upper Age Relaxation:

Master’s in Science or Master’s in Agricultural Science from a recognised university.

Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on scores in the ICAR AICE-JFR/SFR (PhD) – 2024 Examination only.
Personal Interview: Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview. The ratio of the number of candidates eligible for interviews will be decided by the competent authorities.

- Visit the official website www.csb.gov.in and click on “JOB OPPORTUNITIES” and click on “Link for Online Submission” below the Advertisement No. CSB/01/2024 for Scientist-B (Pre-Cocoon Sector).
- Now click on “SUBMIT APPLICATION” and fill in all the required details.
- Once done upload the Photograph and Signature.
- Once completed it will prompt to generate the challan. Make the payment through any office of India Post (Bhartiya Dak) using the printout of the Challan.
- Now upload all the documents as required.
- Once the payment is successful candidates can download and print the application for future reference.
