English Stenographer (Group B) Grade III Selection Process:

The candidates will be for the English Stenographer (Group B) Grade III post through four phases. The details for each phase are as follows:

  • Phase I: (Screening Test)
    • There will be 100 objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each.
    • Time Duration: 90 Minutes
    • Total Marks: 100 marks
    • Negative Marking: 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.

  • Phase II: (Dictation and Transcription)

    • There will be Five(5) minutes of Dictation followed by Transcription in shorthand notes in the candidate’s handwriting.
  • Phase III: (Typing Test)

    • Based on the performance in the Main Examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personality and Computer Proficiency Test in a ratio of 1:3.
